In Memoriam;
Larry Thomas Hogan

Co founder of NWKC

Larry Thomas Hogan was born December 10, 1935 and he passed away today, August 2, 2007. Larry was a member of the earlier NorthWest Knife Collectors in the early 1980’s and was responsible for getting the club going once again about 7 years ago. Both Larry and his wife Rae worked tirelessly to get things rolling and we owe the current club to them and their dedication. Larry was instrumental in getting many new members into our club and also into knife collecting and knife making. Many of today’s local knife makers owe a lot to Larry’s encouragement and efforts. Larry was very well known nationally for his interest and knowledge of knifes. At this time we do not know the full wishes of Rae and the family, however please contact any of the club officers if you would like more information. We will have more to say about Larry later. We lost a good man, friend and knife collecting is a little weaker! Let’s say a prayer for Larry.
